Never have I seen such a large wedding entourage! I believe Lloyd and Eloina had approximately 23 pairs (including sponsors)! Eloina provides a pretty clear explanation in the film for why this is 😉

You can often learn a lot about a couple by the journey in which it took them to get there. If I had to sum up Lloyd and Eloina’s relationship in one word based on my time with the couple and learning about their story, it would have to be “enduring”. Their relationship survived through some pretty rocky times, including a break-up, but as you can tell by some of the speeches by those close to the couple, they were ALWAYS on each other’s mind!

With faith being at the centre of their relationship, Father Geoffrey delivered a poignant homily that seemed to speak directly to this indescribable need and/or recognition that each sees in the other, which has only grown over time and been reinforced by their enduring journey, through both times of separation and those spent together. Congratulations to both Lloyd and Eloina, and from what I understand, a little bundle of joy they brought into the world recently 🙂
