Where do we even start with this truly amazing Sikh wedding? I don’t have nearly the eloquence necessary to do this wedding justice, so I’ll keep it brief and let the film do most of the talking. Without a doubt, this was the largest Indian wedding we’ve ever had the pleasure of filming. We came in knowing that beyond highlighting the sheer size of this wedding, we also wanted to capture a measure of intimacy demonstrated through the imagery to express the love that was circulating throughout the week of festivities. To further emphasize this element, I came to Sarnjeet and Bunty with the idea of a high-production engagement shoot; something neither they nor I had ever seen or done before. I can’t even express how much appreciation I have for the unconditional faith they had in our ability to make this wild and epic idea a reality. Their engagement prelude film that precedes the main Next-Day edit is proof of what can actually be accomplished when that trust exists. The shoot was definitely no easy feat to say the least! We hope this film provides you with joy, some laughter and maybe even a tear near the end… Please enjoy!
