Kelsi and Frank | Cinematic Highlights

“All the challenges in life are faced together, not alone. All the joys in life are lived together, not alone.”

It was no doubt a tough day with Kelsi’ Grandma passing just the day before the wedding and not having her mother present as well. There were items dedicated to these two very important people in Kelsi’ life on the wedding day, such as the locket on Kelsi’ bouquet, but after watching and listening to the speeches and preparing to create their wedding film, I realized just how much these figures meant not only to their lives, but also as a part of this very special day. I contacted Kelsi, and we decided to get some extra footage from the wedding albums of both her and Frank’s parents. Connecting these past celebrations to the current one made so much sense to the story of Kelsi and Frank’s wedding. It serves as a way to remember, preserve, and honour the memory of those that have shaped us in to the people we are today, but whom could not be with us.

Of course, as is alluded to throughout the film, this was a day of much joy and celebration! I’ve seen Father Sam (a living legend of sorts in my opinion) in action a number of times, but I have to say, he really laid into Frank this time round haha! Any future couples having Father Sam marrying you, consider yourself warned! Father Sam doesn’t let you off easy!

Congratulations to Kelsi and Frank as well as their families! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your amazing wedding day!
